There are many reasons why people love living in and visiting Canada and one of the main ones that you will hear again and again is this country's continued connection to the outdoors. If you're looking at living in homes for sale in Brampton or are trekking through the Rockies you will see a number of different landscapes and climates throughout the year. Most people know that Ontario has four seasons and can see everything from hot sunny days to whiteout blizzards. But if you're traveling to the area for a conference put together by corporate event planning Toronto or visiting Addington Highlands for a week you might be wondering what's in store for you weather-wise before you arrive.

The first thing that you should know about Ontario weather is that the only thing that is certain about it is that it is unpredictable. You will sometimes find a day in the middle of February where the temperature is above freezing and will find days in July where you want to curl up with a blanket by the fire in your Port Credit real estate instead of sitting on the dock in your swimsuit. There are also varying weather conditions depending on where in the province you find yourself.

Let's start with the time of year that everyone tends to dread: Winter. If you're in Ottawa than you can look forward to some days that seem windy and cold enough to freeze your eyes open. On the other side of the province in London Ontario real estate you're more likely to be buried within this region's snow belt. The average temperature across Ontario in January and February is going to be around -8 degrees Celsius, but it will seem much colder in places with the wind chill.

There are hundreds of lakes and rivers throughout the Addington Highlands area and the province on Ontario and millions of people like to take advantage of them with a wealth of summer activities. Luckily for them, you will find that the average temperature is about 21 degrees in July and you will see lots of sunny days to go with the warm climate. Even sections of the province as far north as Sault St Marie see some days above the 20-degree mark at this time of year.

Spring usually starts around the end of March, when days become longer and the thermometer starts sitting above the freezing mark most of the time. By the middle of May you can usually leave the jacket at home and start exploring the growing trees and emerging wildlife. Fall colours start popping up out the window of a Mississauga limo or in Algonquin Park around Thanksgiving and the first snow can be as early as Halloween in some sections of Ontario.
